volunteers strive to seek out and help those in need in countless communities throughout the United States. No work of charity is foreign to the Society.

Depending on the need, we turn your vehicle into program and services dollars or if it is desired by a local SVDP, your donation may provide transportation
to someone allowing them the dignity of keeping a job to support their family.

A. We look at each car and evaluate the “Best Venue Decision” to raise the most money. We will look at the Wholesale auction market, depending
on condition. We also consider the recycling of vehicles to be good business and good for the environment. A recycled car can be used for car
replacement parts. Scrap metal yards also specialize in taking old metal and selling it to companies to turn into new item
Will I receive a tax deduction for donating my vehicle?
The sale of your vehicle will support a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so it is tax deductible. Since each donor’s tax situation is different we recommend
that you consult your tax professional.

How will the value of my vehicle be determined for tax purposes?
As of January 1, 2005 the IRS has taken the guesswork out of determining the value of your vehicle for tax purposes. If your vehicle sells for less than $500
you can claim the fair market value of your vehicle up to $499. If your vehicle sells for more than $500 you can deduct the actual sale price of your vehicle.
Auto-Donation.com will provide you with a receipt after your vehicle is sold.
When will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?
Your receipt will be generated as soon as the vehicle sells. In most cases you can expect a receipt within 30 days from the time we pick up your vehicle.
What should I have before I call or go online to donate?
Please be ready to provide your vehicle’s year, make, model or vehicle identification number (VIN) and current mileage. The vehicle does not have to be
running, but you will need to describe the condition of the vehicle and disclose any structural damage
What happens after I submit my donation?
After completing the form a confirmation email will be sent to you once you select "Submit Now." You will print, send, and sign a copy of the confirmation
email/odometer statement and send it with the signed vehicle title and any other pertinent documentation as required by your state to the Processing
Center and once we receive your paperwork we will start the vehicle donation pick up process.
Your vehicle automatically qualifies for the Rush program and we will immediately coordinate the pickup/drop off of your vehicle.
Our average pick up time is 1-2 business days from the date of assignment. After your vehicle is sold you will receive a receipt by mail for tax purposes.
